Detailed Description
McKinsey Business Technology is seeking exceptional business professionals with a passion for technology to join our Middle East Office in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. McKinsey began serving clients in the Middle East in the mid-90s. In late 1999, we opened our Dubai location to serve clients across the GCC region (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and U.A.E.) and in Pakistan. We have since opened locations in Abu Dhabi (2010), Cairo (2008), Riyadh (2009) and Manama (2006). Ours is one of the fastest growing McKinsey offices - from 5 consultants in 1999 we now have over 250 consultants. What is more, at any given time, we have upwards of 60 consultants from other offices working on engagements in the Middle East. We advise some of the largest, most innovative companies in a variety of industries including banking, asset management, insurance, telecom, media, industrial, healthcare and pharmaceuticals to name a few.
We play an increasingly vital role in the region, advising institutions in key sectors such as financial services and banking, business technology, telecommunications, economic development, education, energy, government, healthcare, industry, infrastructure and transportation. We work with our clients to develop strategy, build new businesses, enhance organisational structures and improve operational performances to ensure distinctive, lasting and substantial improvements in our clients’ performance.

Our consultants typically have the following qualifications:
- An outstanding academic and professional record of achievement
- A broad understanding of current technology trends, their impact on business strategies, and their implications for senior management in creating and sustaining competitive advantage and transforming business
- 3-6 years of work experience with a technology company, in a technology consulting firm, or in a high-performing corporate IT department
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability and experience
