Job description

We are currently recruiting for a luxury mall developer in Qatar who has 2 malls under development. The role is for an experienced retail leasing manager with good contacts and a solid understanding of tenancy mix, ideally with some exposure to luxury brands. The role will see through the opening and stabilization of one centre (40,000m2) in the later part of 2015 and development leasing of another centre (100,000m2) targeted to launch in early 2017.

The role will primarily focus on:

• Development leasing of a mid/high-end mall
• Conduct site visits
• Meet potential tenants
• Lease negotiation and lease documentation
• Work closely with the internal project and legal teams
• Oversee tenant relationships during launch and stabilization of centre

Reporting to the General Manager, this role is instrumental in getting the tenant mix right from the beginning in the new centre and ensure a smooth launch of the other centre.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Degree or diploma qualified in Property, Estate Management or related field
• At least five years of retail leasing experience, ideally from within a shopping mall and at least a few years in a Manager's position.
• Professional presentation, strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain solid tenant relationships
• Strong track record in identifying new business leads
• Motivated and sales focused individuals
