Partner Account Manager – Managed Services - Qatar
Partner account manager focused on the recruitment and development of the channel partners that will be committed with us to capture the growth potential in Qatar.
In this position, you will be responsible for recruiting new strategic partners and developing multi year joint business plans with existing and new partners. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing similar channel segments, a grasp of strategic business challenges, and a high level of comfort working with cross-functional teams throughout the global Cisco organization as well as the channel partners. Responsibility also includes driving the managed Services and Velocity business in this Territory.

Role & Responsibilities
● Strategy alignment of each channel partner to Cisco focused priority areas.
● Coach Partners account managers for the element of the strategic planning, development and execution of the business plan working closely with the Distribution Operation and Business Development team.
● Lead the collaboration with the country sales teams and architecture and channel teams, to ensure synergy.
● Create partner recruitment and enablement plans.
● Liaison with ME Partner sales team and WW Channels team on global initiatives and priorities for channel partners.
● Own a review and governance process to ensure alignment of priorities and activities.
● Conduct forecast review and be accountable to committed sales forecast.
● Drive the managed Services and Velocity business in the territory
Minimum Qualifications
● BA and/or Technical degree, a preference
Desired Skills
● Ability to build relationships with technical and business organizations.
● Ability to build cross-functional relationships with peers among other internal Cisco organizations.
● Problem solving attitude
● Knowledge of Channels and Distribution
● Previous experience in Channel Account Management
● Able to manage conflicting priorities of multiple parties
● An understanding of Cisco’s general business strategy
● Networking Product/Technology knowledge
● Technical knowledge
● Persuasive communication skills
● Excellent verbal & written communications and presentation skills
● Experience of working in a sales orientated and cross-functional environment
● Both entrepreneurial and collaborative, visionary and delivery oriented; focused on both short-term results and long-term strategic goals
● Demonstrated experience in business planning, developing sales and marketing programs and strategy would be a major plus
● Change orientated, able to accept work with and manage an ever-changing work environment.
● Self starter, able to take instruction and manage self for motivation and delivery.
● Creativity. has the imagination and inventiveness to generate new ideas and implement same to the benefit of the business.
● Proactive, anticipates change, future needs or risk in the business or areas of responsibility and proposes appropriate activities to meet these challenges.
● Customer focused, ensures awareness of customer needs and expectations, constantly striving to deliver same.
The role will require the candidate to have excellent business acumen and commercial sales experience to/through/in channel operations and be able to provide growth to business in velocity.
The candidate must possess strong skills in sales management and be able to demonstrate leadership and co-operation amongst virtual teams. The candidate must also be willing to travel if required.
The candidate must have excellent communications skills and the ability/affinity for communicating with customers/senior internal management in both formal and informal situations. Strong people management skills are a requirement and the candidate must exemplify Cisco's culture in decisions and actions and transcends management to true leadership.
